  Stupid reasons why songs are labeled "bad"

  one, i have heard that, since boy george was on heroin, that listening to culture club would amount to taking it yourself.

  to me, that is a lame excuse to ruin a song or discography.. another example was michael jackson's thriller album.

  they wanted me to get rid of that album because i would be "supporting that apostate" by listening to cuts from it.

  Here's why grunge is bad:

But whichever variety, the thrown-on, dressed-down, waiflike look of poverty, dubbed grunge, can cost a bundle."

  I was deeply insulted by that statement. It is very innacurat, arrogant, and rude.

  Grunge isn't about paying lots of money to look sloppy, and real fans know this. It's about not caring whether you have the best hair, the newest clothes, the sexiest makeup- that's why grunge bands frequently looked plain, and, yes, sometimes unkempt. The best grunge bands cared more about music than looking hot.

  my wife is always saying she doesn't have any shoes to go with this or that.

  I'm a woman, but I don't really like shoes. Got an old pair of clunky, black shoes with thick two-ish inch heels. I love them. Saw a few others in my life that I love (I usually hate heels btw).

  I'm a sneaker kind of girl though. That's all I need.

  The new writing department of the WTBTS

  there is a new writing department in wt land.. us.. think about it, the watchtower/jehovah's witnesses are a reactive 'religion', not a proactive one.. that means of course that they react and modify doctrine, rules and direction in response to what ever may be effecting them.

  probably the last time they were proactive was the 40s and 50s but these days its all about preservation rather than growth.. i am sure that the actual writing department have eyes and ears out in 'aposta land'.

  after all, who discuss and disect the books, magazines and letters more than we do?

  Watchtower Society Sued For Covering Up For Molestor Derek Packowski

  sacramento vicinity (loomis, rocklin, sunset congregations): court documents were just issued charging derek packowski and the watchtower society corporations.

  the papers were filed by the legal firm of nolen saul brelsford of sacramento, california.

  the child molestor and said corporations headed by the governing body over jehovah?s witnesses, were charged with not reporting to law enforcement and systematically conspiring and suppressing information about sexual molestation committed by packowski when he was in a congregation in des plaines, illinois, also after about 1984 and later in california at the loomis congregation from which formed the rocklin and sunset congregations.

  skeeter1: Were the seats filled to the brim? Or empty? What was the percentage of empty seats? HIgher or lower?

  There were lots of empty seats. Lots of people too, but less than last year, or so it seemed. I would say there were more filled than empty seats, but there were PLENTY of empty ones to choose from, trust me!

  Although the demonstration about gossipping was quite sexist. Women, as usual. Because men have more important things to talk about.
